anderson and jessica married and baptized (12-30-13)

Dear Family,

Dad thanks for the great email. It's good to know everyone's ok and that things are going well preparing for Allie's wedding. It's good to hear that everyone had a great Christmas!

This last week was great especially with Christmas and seeing the family. Here in Brazil Christmas is on Thursday, well everyone celebrates on Thursday, so our district had an awesome lunch and Secret Santa together and at night the members invited us to their Christmas dinner. During the day we visited a few people who didn't have family to spend Christmas with and shared messages about the true meaning of Christmas. It was great and definitely a Christmas I'll never forget. Christmas day I had my last interview with the president which was great and talked to the family afterwards which of course was awesome. The best part was knowing I'd be there in person with the family soon :)

During the week we did a bunch of contacts to once again find more people to teach because it's getting a little difficult. We've got people to teach but are having to kick a lot of them. We also are thinking that this next week there could be a mini transfer and we could be closing this area, but we are not sure yet.

We have been teaching a lady named Maria who is a recent convert's mom and decided that she wanted to be baptized during the week, but there's a couple problems with commandments that will probably make her have to wait a little longer. Also Guilherme was supposed to be baptized Sunday but his mom wouldn't let him...these parents let their kids do whatever they want except for get baptized…..so silly.

Also to end a great week even greater, Anderson and his girlfriend Jessica were married and baptized in Paulista (my last area) on Sunday!!! I was able to be there for that! This is an amazing family that has the potential to do great things for the church here. I'm already planning on saving up money to come back in a year to see the sealing, whoooo!!! I'll show you pictures when I get home…..hah that's cool to say.

Anyway, I don't want to say too much or there won't be anything to say when I get home, so good week for you all and see you soon ;)

With love,
Elder LeSueur
