third week email at brazil mtc

Hey! its tuesday yay! Pdays are ultimate! They consist of the temple in morning, shopping and eating afterwards around town, doing laundrey, and emailing..but that all takes the whole day. So the Sao Paulo temple is getting cleaned for the next two weeks so today we got super lucky and got to do a session in the Campinas temple! It is way way beautiful! It is kinda in the middle of the jungle and over looks Sao Paulo, its soooo beautiful! Next week when we go again im going to take pictures and ill send them to you when i get out of the CTM. It so nice getting to leave the building and explore the town, today me and E. Erickson went to a little hamburger jiuce shop that was amazing! I had a mango juice type thing that is definitely worth 2.50 reals each week! I got Allis letter this week, and the thomspons (the pictures from tessa and treven were epic and so nice) and it was soo sweet, i seriously have the best family ever, im getting all the dear elder letters they are all bomb thanks so much! This last week a new elder Grether got here who also left the 21st of feb, but was in Provo for 1 week because of visa, so its cool having him here, execpt he took our 3some away and so its me and elder Erickson and then E Mullenaux and E Grether are together ( E Grether also mentioned how there are a couple others in provo still that should be here in our district but cant get cuz of visa problems. I will miss having Chris as my comp but we are still together alot. The language is improving so thank you all for the prayers they are such a blessing! Elder Taft Peterson got her this last week too which is a huge deal, because knowing anyone form back home is way rare and i know 3 guys and see them everyday. Last night me E Erickson and E Trever Michel played basketball together which was fun. Me E Michel were talking about how it should be so weird that we are in Brazil together but it feels normal for some reason just like hanging out back at home. It nice seeing him and talking about home.
Its a funny feeling being here in the CTM because we all felt like we left for our missions 3 weeks ago... but now it feels like we are still waiting 3 weeks to leave for our missions, it feels like we were just sent off by our parents to Brasil to learn how to serve a mission and in a few weeks we will actually get to leave... which i guess is the true haha. This morning was sad because the Brazillians in our dorm left for the field today (they only stay for 3 weeks) They are such nioce people and sooo caring, ive only known them for 3 weeks but i love them like ive known them forever! Brazillains are so easy to love. With Brazillians when you really care about your friend you say Me casa e sua casa which means my home is your home, literally we all were saying that to eachother so if the other comes to the others country they will be able to feel at home at our home... if that makes sense. E. Lima ( one of the brazillians in my dorm) was telling me about his family, he lives in a small house with nine familiy members. His dad had some kind of disease and while in operation he lost feeling of his neck down. He he cant work, so E. Lima has been the one earning money for his whole family for a long time because his mom has to stay home with the kids. It was hard for him to earn money to come on a mission but the lord provided a way. He said he is going to be the best moinionary out in the field... and i belive him. After i heard that story i almost cried. Many lessons could be learned from his story and i am learning so much out here. Ive only gained like 10mpounds out here so no worries.....haha actually i might be worrying.... im still in shape though gym is good to me... haha on sunday (the day of rest) we went to sacremant, then a couple other meeting ate lunch, took a nap, then ate dinner....sundays are great.... actually i studied rather than took a nap, i gotta give my self a little credit out here haha. We can leave from 12:30 to 6 on pdays. Letters are great! Oh and thanks for the blog, it sounds like its pretty legit!! Love you all!!!! Im doing great out here!!!
Ps - oh and let me know about politics just cuz im in brazil doesnt mean i forgot ha, i want to know that the US will be in one piece when i get home and not taken over by the chinese or something...
Oh and thanks for doing all the stuff with the other moms! That will be great to here all of their reports and how they are doing! I dont have time to send them anything individually but in the field i will, that would be great to get a dear elder of their weekly happenings or something, does dear elder cost money, id feel bad if you had to spend any money on letters for me. do it as cheap as possible! oh and thats so awesome about dads working and how he is doing so well, i hope that all my blessings go to the familly!!
hey! haha sorry i cant talk (email back and forth) wish i could! in the field ill be able to though...hopefully, well see, its coming so quick, i hope i learn way more of the language in 3 weeks. the temple today was sooo amazimg i wish you could see it, the view from where the campinas temple is is soo amazing, the whole city is crazy, its like a bug nice city, jungle, and porr neighborhoods all randomly put togther, so different but way cool!
