sickness due to dead animal remains washing into water 7-8-13

Hey family!!

I loved the pictures of everyone at the lake and cabin. Man what a blast. We´ll have to do the same thing next year too ;) All the kids are getting so big!!! Stop!! Haha. Happy birthday Grandma Sandra!! Did she jump in the pool again with her clothes on? That was always a classic Grandma Sandra thing ;)

As for this week! We found a family where the whole family lives on the same street. Like 20 years ago everyone in this family was baptized and now (20 years later) they have a million kids and grandkids who are grow up and teenagers now. To make a long story short, they all love us and think my comp and I are way cool and want to go to church and be baptized. Recently we have been starting to do a lot more activities for the youth which will help a bunch of the new investigators that we found! (Ok I just realized that we have to go now so I’ll try to make this really fast) I’ll write more next week, but yeah we found this family and two of the girls of this family went to church two times and loved it so we have been teaching them and already marked the baptisms of them for this Sunday!!! Whooo....we are happy!! :)

Real quick.... everyone here is sick with the flu because a while back when it wasn't raining, all the animals died and then when it started to rain all the remains of the animals washed into the water that people here use to drink and wash...so now everyone is sick, except for me!! Thanks to your prayers :)

This weekend there was a huge problem in one of our areas and the 1st councilor there tried to sue the missionaries for talking bad about him which you can do in Brazil...weird I know. So they called President and President Immediately closed the area and sent my comp and the district leader to take care of them till they could get a ride to Recife (they live 6 hours from Recife). It was a big deal and ruined the end of our week because the elder I had to stay with was super sick and we couldn't do anything all weekend except for go to church and I did a quick division to pick up a few investigators to church. Oh and we made hamburgers Saturday night and Sunday morning I barfed the worst I have ever barfed in my life. It was horrible but I feel better (Note: don’t eat a hamburger with hot dog, eggs, cheese, hamburger, and ham).

Sorry for the short email I’ll have more time next week!!!

Love you all!!! Oh and a new sister got here today named sister Dona from Mesa (she went to Mountain View)! Way cool, I don’t know if mom and dad know her family? Probably, they know everyone.

Love,

Elder LeSueur
